Terms of Service

Last updated: April 12, 2026

Not financial advice. Congress Trade Alerts is an information service only. Nothing on this site or in our notifications constitutes an offer, solicitation, or recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security. All estimates use midpoints of disclosed STOCK Act ranges and may differ significantly from actual amounts. Past performance does not predict future results. You are solely responsible for your own investment decisions.

By using Congress Trade Alerts ("the Service"), operated at congresstradealerts.com, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. What the Service does

We aggregate publicly disclosed congressional stock trades from the U.S. House Clerk, the Senate Office of Public Records, and related government sources, enrich them with market data, and deliver feeds and personal alerts. Free users get a 24-hour-delayed feed. Pro subscribers get the real-time feed and personalized multi-channel alerts.

2. Accounts and access

You may sign up with your email address and a payment method through Stripe. You are responsible for keeping your API key secure. If your key is exposed, contact us at congresstradealertsapp@gmail.com and we will rotate it.

3. Pricing, billing, and cancellation

4. Refund policy

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

6. Data sources and accuracy

We pull from official government disclosures and third-party market data providers, but we do not guarantee accuracy, completeness, or timeliness. Late filings, data entry errors, and source-side outages happen. All dollar amounts shown are estimates based on disclosed ranges, not exact figures. If you spot a mistake, please tell us.

7. Not financial advice — read this twice

The Service is for informational and educational purposes only. We are not a registered investment advisor, broker-dealer, or financial planner. We do not provide personalized investment advice, and nothing we publish constitutes a recommendation to buy or sell any security. Copy-trading politicians can lose you money. Consult a licensed professional before making investment decisions.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of security vulnerabilities.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Congress Trade Alerts and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages — including loss of profits, trading losses, or data — arising from your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

10. Account deletion

You may delete your account at any time from the account settings page, or by emailing congresstradealertsapp@gmail.com. Deletion removes your subscriber record, alert rules, and cancels any active Stripe subscription. This action is irreversible.

11. Termination

You can stop using the Service and cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that pose a security or abuse risk.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and notify active Pro subscribers by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.
